It's that time of year again, my favorite time of year, when fresh local produce can be found everywhere you turn! Grapes are by far one of our favorites! When the kids aren't eating them straight from the fridge, I sneak bag fulls into the freezer! For me, this is my all time favorite summer treat!
Did you know that 99% of all grapes sold within the US come from California? Their sweet and juicy, and I have a hard time deciding which variety I actually prefer! Right now, the California Table Grape Commission is holding a "Makeover Your Snack" contest!!
Now through July 21st, head over to the Grapes from California FaceBook Page, like their page, and enter your favorite creative snack and picture. All entries must contain Californian grown grapes, and at least 2 other ingredients!!
