Cheerios Cheer Review and Giveaway!

I am so humbled to be writing about this campaign. With an impending deployment coming, it's nice to know that the families of deployed service members are being thought of.  Cheerios has partnered up with the USO in an amazing campaign!

Now through November, 2011 at your local grocer, specially-marked boxes of Cheerios cereal will feature Cheer postcards on the front of the box. Consumers can simply cut out the postcard from the Cheerios logo, write a message of thanks on the back, add a stamp and mail the pre-addressed card to the USO. The USO will deliver the Cheer card to military families across the country.

For each postcard received through November 2012, Cheerios will make a $1 donation to the USO to help fund programs that support military families. To kick off the campaign, Cheerios has already donated $150,000 to the USO and will donate up to an additional $100,000 based upon the number of postcards received from specially marked boxes now through November 30th, 2012.

WIN IT!!

One Amazing winner will win a Cheerios Cheer Prize Pack! Make sure to check out the widget for entry options. Please note that this giveaway has 2 mandatory steps to enter.

This post has been written for Cheerios, the USO, and for My Blog Spark who supplied me with the info, a prize pack to try, and so that I too can thank another wonderful Military family!

My father is a veteran of WW II and was a MSGT in the US Army.I sent flowers to his grave on veterans day. Also remembered veterans by attending the parade and ceremony held in our city on veterans day.

My cousin is overseas. I haven't seen him in a while, but I do get postcards and write him over there. I know that he is courageous and keeping us safe and free. (cnfc800@gmail.com)

I have done several things over the last year to thank veterans and those currently deployed. As a Hotel Manager, I often times have NPO's come to me looking for donations and one in particular that I participated in provided sample sized products to currently deployed military so I supplied them with soaps, shampoo, toothpaste and tampons. I also donated a room to be raffled off at a fundraiser for veterans.

I donate, and my family gets together and sends yearly Christmas cards to those currently deployed.
