20 Questions

Since it's not my children playing 20 questions with me, I'll answer Blessed Quiver's Questions!

1. What is your favorite thing to snack on while you are blogging?

If I am in a snacking mood, it's normally a fruit and nut mix that I make up by the bucket full!

2. What is one thing you wouldn't want to live without?

Obviously my family. Other than that, I would say the internet, Hands Down! It's the only way I can keep up with my Massive family that spans the world!

3. Beach, Mountains, or Farm? Where would you live?
I've done the beach, and the mountains...and technically a small farm. I would love to have my own farm. I miss raising animals! Not to mention, raising our own food! Besides, how bored can a child be on a farm? With all that space to run, things to explore, chickens to chase, geese that chase back!

4. What is your least favorite household chore?

My room. Plain and simple, for the fact that every thing is stowed there when I don't have a place to put things, need to do something else before they get put away, or just to stash.

5. Who do people say you remind them of?

You know, I can't recall anyone saying that I remind them of anyone in particular. If you know me, who do I remind you of?

6. Parties and socializing or staying home with the family?

I would prefer to stay home, but do have so much fun and never regret going out to parties and socializing. It does have to be with people I know. Otherwise I am very uncomfortable and am very, very quiet.

7. What's your all time favorite movie?

Moulin Rouge, purely for the music! I have to watch every couple of months. I love the arrangements and the vocals!

8. Do you sleep in your makeup or remove it every night?

I rarely use makeup, but when I do I sleep with it on. But I usually only do eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss.

9. Do you have a hidden talent or a deep desire to learn something that you've never had a chance to learn?

I play piano, but haven't played in many many many many years. Once I get my home all re-situated, the key board is coming back out!

10. What's one strange thing you are really good at?

Hmmmm...something strange? Oh I know!!!!!!   I can do this:

11. What first attracted you to your spouse?

His eyes!

12. What is something you love to smell?

Just one????  I have too many! The crisp clean smell of rain, the smell of the air right before it snows, wood burning fireplaces...

13. Tell something about you that you know irritates people?

Rich says I irritate him when it comes time for him to shop for me. I give him tons of hints, leading up to events, and then he always says, "What do you want for _____. You haven't told me anything."

Hmmmm...maybe that's something that irritates me more than him! I can't think of anything else.

14. When you have extra money, what's the first thing you do with it?

Myself, I think of all the things I want to do with it, but turn around and use it for things I have to use it for...like bills, food, clothes for the kids, ect.

15. Are you a silent laugher or loud laugher?

Both! It depends on the situation! Rich and the kids make me bust up!!! Other things I laugh pretty softly about!

16. Where is your favorite place to shop?

Any place with an outstanding bargain!  Last week I was doing some Christmas shopping and came across digital cameras! They were priced $40 every where including the BX (where I got them). I payed $3.75 for them! I ended up getting one for each of the girls! Now to figure out if they will be for Christmas or Easter!

17. Whats one thing you would do more often if you had more time?

Go out and about to take pictures. I don't get to do that very often.

18. Are you a big spender or frugal?

I prefer to be frugal. There are some things right now that I have to spend more than I would like to. All for the house re-mods I'm doing. I know it'll all pay off when it's time to sell though!

19. Who is your favorite character of all time?

Chilly Willy! Do you remember him??? I LOVE him!! I think this is where my fascination with Penguins started!

20. Would you want to be famous?

Heavens NO!  I can't even handle giving a talk in church! To tell you how bad it is...I write everything out word for word, and read it. I rarely look up, or add anything extra in! I can not stand being the center of attention. You would think being oldest of 9 I would be ok with it, but I'm not. I tolerate opening gifts in front of others, only because I know they want to share in the joy, but it makes me unbelievably uncomfortable.

Now you know way too much about me! So it's your turn!!! When you are done with your questions, let me know! I love reading stuff like this!

You know what's funny...I'm a lot like you but you wouldnt tell from my answers...I'm a homebody and quite shy and HATE being the center of attention. It made me laugh to read your answers cause I was thinking I sounded liek I was all outgoing and stuff...when I"m really not.

WHERE did you get cheap cameras???? PLEASE, I need one for my teen...at that price everyone can have one.

DId you order the diapers? I LOVE 7th Generation, more than ANY diapers. THey hardly ever leak at night and are non smelly.

If you havent purchased yet, go through my sidebar link for Amazon..any time someone uses my links, I earn a little. I always go through my friends...so you should sign up with Amazon. It may not be much (for me it's been only $2) but a friend of mine earns a lot off me cause I shop Amazon a LOT.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, which I affectionately call the Talking Pickle. Jonathan is nine and a half.

I was first attracted to my husband's butt...oops, did I say that out loud?

Oh, did you mean my teenage son? He's almost 17. I can't believe it. He does not have Asperger's, the middle one has A.S.

I meant to tell you yesterday...I WAY prefer cloth diapers too...and used to be sposies were our back up. But now cloth are the back up.

I have an ammonia smell I cant get rid of...and they burn his bum. So we just have to keep throwing away money this way.

I would so rather spend that money on cloth diapers, ya know?

I agree about the comment things you said.
