Katie performed in the Little Olympics today. An event put on yearly by the local Kiwanis (sp) Club. All schools located within our School District participated. Katie did the flexed arm hang and at last minute was asked to do the long jump. She was very disappointed that she was unable to do any of the runs however, they did not do any long runs. They were all sprints. Her coach felt that she would do better in the other events. She didn't place at all, but had a great time and felt that she did her best! She is looking forward to participating again next year! And that's all that counts!
