For most kids, having an after school snack while talking about their day at school is part of their daily routine, but why not opt for a smarter choice rather than cookies or chips?
Yoplait challenged us to swap out 1 not so nutritious snack and replace that snack with a yogurt. The challenge for 1 snack per week, for one month. We have done it.
To be honest, we don't buy a lot of junk food. I try really hard not to have the stuff in my house. I also haven't ever really kept yogurt on hand for myself, or the kids. Normally, I do have some plain stuff floating in the fridge for baking and cooking needs.
My report? Everyone LOVES yogurt. Since I have a little bit left to loose in my weight loss goals, I love that I can find Yoplait in a light variety! They don't give up taste by any stretch of the imagination!
Best of all, if you purchase Yoplait with the pink foils, you will find a special code on the foil. Simply visit "Save Lids To Save Lives", enter your code. Or you can mail your lids in! General Mills will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen® for each lid received (and also for each code entered from select Yoplait products) by 6/30/14. Maximum total donation of up to $1,500,000!
Now, I pass the challenge to you! Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to swap out 1 not so nutritious snack per week, for 1 Yoplait Yogurt!! Then come tell me about your experiences! To help you get started, here's a 60 cent off coupon for you!! http://myblogspark.com/coupons/YPCoreCupC99283.php
