It's that time of year again. Time to break out a new recipe to use for the The George Foreman Grill: Show Us Your Grill Skill Recipe Contest! Let me tell you! This year, is even tougher than the last!
This year we got super creative! We used our George Foreman Grill to make breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even dessert! I think this recipe is by far the best one that we've tried, yet!!
So last night I made up some of this pasta.....SO GOOD!! Because I needed to use it up before it went bad, I decided that tonight would be a great night for that! But what to make with it?
I took a look in my fridge, and low and behold, I also have veggies that need to be used up! This picture doesn't even come close to representing how many veggies are in my fridge right now! But this is what I worked with! BTW, I'm really kicking myself for using the rest of the bell peppers last night!
I added some grill chicken so that the little man would eat! He's a bit finicky when it comes to vegetables......and pasta!
This was my end result!! Even Mr. Picky Pants couldn't get enough! We all ate way too much tonight. I really wish there was a smell function that came with computers...the smell of the vegetables cooking was absolutely mouth-watering! I had a hard time keeping myself from salivating!
The thing I love most about this recipe, is that it can be adapted by anyone to suit your taste buds! Even up here in the PNW, it does get very warm. We hit 97* on Friday! With no a/c, just the thought of cooking is a nightmare! This recipe, however, emits very little heat, especially when using left over pasta.
Give it a try sometime, and tell me what you think! I would love to hear your variations of it as well!
