"Mommy Brings Home the Bacon", by Nikki Mark, is a delightful book all about a little boy who is trying to figure out where all the bacon goes to that his mom brings home. Even though he gets angry at times, he learns that lots of moms leave their kids to go to work, and that some moms even help him for their work.
Learning that some of his friends at school also have working mothers, he finds out they also bring home the bacon. Determined that his mom must eat a lot of bacon for snack time at work, he settles on the fact that it must be his dog, Rosie, that eats all their bacon! This delightful book, is sure to make you chuckle!
