Reading test - out of a possible 36 points...Zada did not miss a single one! State wide 3rd grader average is 483. State Commendations begin at 659. Zada scored, 808.

Mathematics test - out of a possible 40 points...Zada got 38. State Average is 500. State Commendations begin at 640. Zada scored 669.

Her TAKS (Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills - AKA Texas State Testing) Scores:

What you are looking at for TAKS.......

First test was Reading. She missed 2 out of a possible 40. Standard score for State wide is 554. State Commended Performance is a score of 725 or higher. Katie scored a 725.

Second test was Mathematics. She missed 1 out of a possible 42. Standard score: 554. Commended Performance scores 698 or higher. She scored 774!!

Last test was Writing. She got a 3 out of 4. Only 3 others in her school got that score. No one made a 4. Raw score for Standard is 2100. Raw Commended, 2400. Katie scored, 2501!!

Installed a new dining room light fixture.  But now I have decided it's not enough light for my liking and will be putting something else up.
Find new dining room light :(     Install New Dining room light!!!! Was going to do this a few times in the last couple of weeks. The baby got sick, and then I was tired. WILL BE DONE WHETHER I LIKE IT OR NOT TOMORROW AM.
Completely clean and rearranged the living room.
Finish painting shutters for the front of the house.  1 set done.
Hang shutters! 1 set done
Paint the front door.
Hang sheet rock in the kitchen! Started. Can only go so far by myself. The stuff is HEAVY! Might start this after I scrape the ceiling.  The first major and biggest piece is up. What a Pain in the butt!
Buy special, cover anything and everything paint for the kids rooms upstairs.
Buy a cargo trailer.
Make salsa....must be today. No if ands or buts about it!
Scrape kitchen ceiling and patch and mud. Scraping on Tuesday - tomorrow. Blah! Things came up. Haven't done it yet :(

Start painting kitchen. Picked a color!!!! Will start after walls have been taped and mudded.
Mow back yard.
Spray weed killer.  Doing this afternoon when the baby goes down for a nap. Done...didn't work. Bought the "Big Guns".
Lay grass seed.  Doing on Thursday Couldn't do...had to wait 2 weeks...and now have to wait longer.
Chisel out 3" thick cement and tile shower pan. 1/2 way out!!! Need to wait for trash pick up to take up the rest! Then new shower will go in - and I'm not doing it! Kids to bag tile and sheet rock on floor today!! Finish last part of the shower tray.
Finish getting bathroom floor out! Going to work around this. I may not take it out.  Not going to take it out. It would have required a jack hammer, and I for one do not want to use a jack hammer! So, we will lay thin cheap tile to make the floor even, and then go over that!
Staining kitchen cabinets. ALL doors and drawers are done....over 1/2 done.        
Stain cabinets under bar.
Make Jam. 
Birthday shopping
Mother's Day shopping/mailing
Order new fridge!!!!

Paint rooms upstairs.

Rearrange upstairs.

Move desktop, printer, scanner, ect. upstairs.

Freecycle: desk, office chair, small filing cabinet.

Pick up cans for dry pack canner and can 7 grain cereal, popcorn, and other items.
Pick up dry pack canner.

I'm sorry :(

I have been such a crappy blogger and bloggy friend. Things here are going nuts. Trying to get everything finished so we can put the house on the market. End of the year school stuff. And to top it off, the little guy has been sick :( 

I took him in Monday because he had been tugging and poking at his ears and running quite the temperature. They gave him ear drops and told me to start piggy backing the Tylenol and Motrin. Things have gotten progressively worse, so I took him back in today. MASSIVE double ear infection.

So glad we have oral antibiotics and will be seeing the ENT again next week. I don't care what they say, I want tubes in his ears. 4 massive ear infections and a perforated ear drum over the course of 6 months is way too many!
