I know there are a bunch of you curious as to how it is going!
Yesterday they FINALLY came and templated for the counter tops. They took almost 2 hours! Now, what takes 2 hours to do? I'm not sure. But he measured quite a bit and wrote things down. And only a few pencil marks and notes on the old counter and some of the 2x4's is they only thing they have to show for it at this current moment in time. I didn't even bother with taking any pictures, but if you desperately would like to see pics, I could take a few!
Counters are being fabricated as we speak/type/read (whatever!). However, I have been told not to get my hopes up, I was told that they would be ready to install as soon as today *gasp*! When that happens I will take pictures and post as soon as they are done!!!

Yeah! Can't wait to see the finished work. Mostly looking forward to that rectangle of wallpaper to be gone (unless you kept it for historical reasons...then I'm inserting foot in mouth.)
I am excited to see how it turns out. You are going to be cooking all the time now.
