I made a decision on it! I'm going to take my handy dandy Sharpe and write on it. The date (thanks to digital imprinting) we discovered it and briefly write a little something about the remodel. It's the ugliest stuff I have seen, but think it kind of adds to the history of the house a bit. You know, kind of like when you put in a slab of cement somewhere and you have to stick a name, date, or even a hand print?
